The Substitute Teacher Resume Template gives a standard format composed of several headings which a candidate must fill in. Step 2. The Profile summary is a place to deliver a brief statement regarding your experience, abilities, and objective. Ideally, there should be a bullet list of experience and abilities that come into play as a teacher dealing with students. The “Key Skills and Competencies” will be basic skills you possess that apply both to non-teaching positions And to teaching positions. Finally the “Objective” section will be where you declare your intention of attaining the position and how you will function within it.

Step 3. The “Professional Experience” Section will deliver your work history in revers chronological order. Each entry should contain your previous job title, the name and location of the school, and the date range you worked there. This is followed by a list of the duties, skills, and accomplishments you were responsible for there.

Step 4. The final section is “Education.” This is a list of the degrees or certificates you earned.
